RM1405 1U (Opteron)
The RM1405 server from Verari Systems is a high
performance 1U rackmount system that is optimized
for space-constrained enterprise computing and
data center installations. The RM1405 is a low cost
system for enterprise clusters and server farms and
is a perfect solution for today’s Web 2.0 service
providers, such as content delivery and web hosting
companies.
The RM1405 server features the latest Quad-Core
AMD Opteron™ 1300 Series processors and a
2000MHz front side bus for increased performance.
With faster processors, fully buffered DIMM modules
and dual Gigabit Ethernet, the RM1405 is a perfect
solution for a full range of enterprise computing
applications.
The RM1405 server is available with advanced
features such as IPMI 2.0 management, KVM-IP
and remote media, which allows for hardware
monitoring, complete power control and software
installation and maintenance to be achieved without
ever having to visit the server. Advanced features
such as AMD-V virtualization support and AMD’s Dual
Dynamic Power Management improve productivity
and power efficiency while new memory and I/O
innovations boost system performance and keep
critical business information protected.
Leveraging the power of the AMD Opteron processor,
enterprise customers can now run applications faster
than ever before. The rugged 1U chassis allows the
ability to house numerous hard drive options and
up to 8GB of DDR2 memory. The RM1405 can also
utilize standards-based PCI Express cards, making
it one of the most powerful, scalable 1U servers
available. The quad-core processor design harnesses
the performance of the latest NVIDIA® MCP-55 Pro
chipset and offers an enterprise-class server in a
dense 1U form factor.
The RM1405 supports the latest operating systems,
including Microsoft® Windows® 2008 Server, SUSE
Linux Enterprise Server and Red Hat® Linux.
