Customer Service Representative

Scope and Responsibilities

• This position works closely with Sales, PS&S and manufacturing to efficiently manage server and parts    distribution and returns.
• You will receive orders, handle inquiries, develop metrics and resolve customer issues.
• The Customer Support Representative will track product shipments and returns
• Produce detailed reports on the status of parts delivery service levels
• The position will require attention to detail to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Enter parts requests into Verari's tracking system including customer information, serial numbers, and failure    information
• Provide service within agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA's) with various customers, both internal    and external.
• If unable to resolve a customer issue, escalate to appropriate staff or management.
• Ensure that the orders comply with support contract entitlement policies.
• Respond to customer inquiries through e-mail, fax, and/or phone
• Receive, investigate, and respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, returns, and warranty    coverage.
• Provide information regarding order status and shipping dates
• Analyze and research historical data to solve customer issues.
• Log quality problems or issues in the database.
• Maintain records of returns, schedule changes, product and return credits.
• Generate and analyze regular and ad hoc reports for PS&S, Sales and depot repair.
 

Experience and Requirements

• 3-5 years computer industry experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Good administrative and organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Attention to Detail
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to function in a team environment
 

Education

Associates Degree in Business/ Finance or Equivalent Experience
