Director ofStorage Engineering

Position Purpose

Leadership role to provide the driving force for Verari’s Storage Platform, Portfolio and solutions.
 

Scope and Responsibilities

• Understands Verari’s value proposition and identifies partners that augment the overall storage solution
• Tests and integrates solutions with Verari’s platform and partners’ stack
• Tracks key storage solution technologies
• Defines next generation storage architectures based on customer needs and technology advancements

Experience and Requirements

• 8+ Years experience in Storage Industry
• Bachelor degree in related field, Masters Preferred or equivalent industry experience
• Proficient in MS Office Tools, Exchange and Project
• Mobile Connectivity
• Some travelling required
 

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms.
• Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Frequently involves working near moving or mechanical parts.
• Occasional risk of electrical shock.
• Vision requirements include: close, distant, color perception, peripheral, depth and ability to focus.
• Noise conditions are moderate.
